The Most popular Disco music
Disco is a dawn of dance popular music. The Disco style was developed from high-rhythmic sounds from beginning of 70th music and Funk style. The rhythm in it became one of the most importance, even more important than singing by vocalist or songs them self. The style was named from "Disco-parties" - clubs, where only dance music played. Majority of such Disco-parties were held in gay-clubs of New York. DJs of such clubs specially selected the most rhythmic records in styles of Soul and Funk. After playing in Disco-parties, these records began to sound in radio and it appeared to be for well-sailed. Soon, sound-recording studios and producers began to create records specially for playing in Disco-parties. These records contained the memorized melodies which are become popular in any taste.
Albums with Disco music contained limited number of songs, but they were long, with an incessant rhythm. Singles went out in a 12 inches format, allowing extensive remixes. DJs could mix these records in one, obtaining the coincidence of rate which was distinguished by the number of shots in a given minute.
Instantly, Disco with its obtrusively knocking rhythm appeared on the top of the pop-charts. Any performer created at least one plate in this style - from rock-musicians, such as The Rolling Stones and Rod Stewart to pop-groups, such as the Bee Gees, and also performers of "new wave" - Blondie and many others. The stars of Disco were Donna Summer, Chic, the Village People, KC & the Sunshine Band, although this music was above all the product of the labor of producers which invented songs and made arrangements.
Popularity of Disco went away in the beginning/mid of 80th, however it is impossible to say that this style disappeared without trace - it defiantly influenced a number of genres of dance music, from Dance-Pop and Hip-Hop to House and Techno.
